Peru 1 Sol Commemorative Coins Checklist

About this checklist

Since 2010 the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCRP) has issued special designs of the 1 Sol coin to promote numismatic culture. They are ordinary circulating coins in the same alpaca alloy, weight (7.32 g) and size (25.5 mm) as the regular sol, usually minted in 10 million pieces per design, which is why Peruvians collect them straight from their change.

The first series, Riqueza y Orgullo del Perú (2010–2016), has 26 coins, one for each region, from the Tumi de Oro to the Arco Parabólico de Tacna. It was followed by Recursos Naturales del Perú (2013), Fauna Silvestre Amenazada del Perú (2017–2019), the bicentennial series Constructores de la República (2020–2023) and La Mujer en el Proceso de Independencia del Perú (2020), and since 2024 Cerámica Precolombina Peruana, planned with 11 coins.

This checklist lists every design by series and issue date. Each coin shows real photos from collectors on Save All and how many of them own it. Add your coins in the app to see which ones are still missing from your collection.
