How credits work and rules

This page explains how AI credits work in Save All and the rules that apply.
1. What are AI Credits?
AI credits are used to run AI-powered features in the app: product recognition (identifying items from photos) and price estimation. Each operation consumes a certain number of credits based on the type of operation.
2. How do I get credits?
You can obtain credits in the following ways:
- •Account opening: New users receive a one-time credit when they sign up.
- •Monthly recharge: Standard and Premium plans include a monthly credit allowance that is added to your balance on the recharge date.
- •Purchase: You can buy additional credit packages from the Plans screen when needed.
3. How are credits used?
Credits are deducted when you use AI features:
- •Product recognition: Analyzing a photo to detect product name, brand, or category.
- •Price estimation: Requesting an AI-based price estimate for a product.
- •If an operation fails due to a technical error, credits may be refunded. Refunds are applied automatically where applicable.
4. Monthly recharge
Your plan's monthly credits are valid for one month. They are added on a fixed recharge date each month (e.g. the day you subscribed). Right before each new recharge, any remaining credits from the previous period are reset to zero; then the new month's allowance is loaded. Unused credits do not roll over. The recharge date is shown in the AI Credits screen.
5. Purchasing credit packages (Premium / add-ons)
You can buy extra credit packages from the Plans screen (e.g. upgrading to Premium for a higher monthly allowance). Purchased or upgraded credits are applied as described in the mid-month and plan-change sections. Payment is processed through the App Store or Google Play according to their terms.
6. Mid-month scenarios
When you change plan or upgrade during the month:
- •Upgrading to Premium mid-month: You receive the full Premium monthly credit amount immediately. Your next recharge date is set to one month from the upgrade date. Credits are valid until that date; unused credits do not roll over.
- •One-time credit packs (if offered) are added to your balance when purchased. Your monthly recharge date and plan allowance are unchanged.
- •Downgrading or cancelling mid-month: You keep access until the end of the current billing period. Your existing balance stays until your next recharge date. On that date, the previous balance is cleared and you receive the Standard plan's monthly allowance.
7. When Premium ends (drop back to Standard)
If your Premium subscription expires or you cancel or switch to Standard:
- •Your current credit balance stays until your next recharge date. You can keep using those credits until then.
- •On the next recharge date, any remaining balance is cleared and you receive the Standard plan's monthly credit amount. Unused Premium credits are not carried over.
- •You do not receive a refund or extra credits for the unused part of the Premium period.
- •Premium-only features become unavailable once you are on Standard. You can still use AI features as long as you have credits.
8. Unused credits
Monthly credits are valid for one month only. Unused credits do not roll over; they are reset when the next recharge runs. Use your credits before the recharge date shown in the AI Credits screen.
9. Other rules
- •Credits that have been spent on a successful operation cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
